Making the swirl from my own experience is kinda difficult. I always have had trouble getting my cake to roll without cracking. This time making the strawberry swirl it was an okay experience. Our first cake smelled, HORRIBLE. It smelled like eggs. But thanks to Ms.Davidson she found use a sponge cake that came out perfect. It rolled really well. Our filling was a little plain, but with the strawberries natural sugar it sweetened it and also the sponge cake helped as well. Rolling the cake and filling was kinda difficult it wasn't very tight but the swirl was perfect. Over all it turned out very well.
